Just wanted to know how many Mom's out there have a LO who has NOT crawled yet at 8 months old?

My son isn't quite 8 months yet, but he's not crawling and I don't get the impression he's going to start anytime soon.

my sweet boy will be 9 months  next friday and he just started this week. he has been rocking on his knees for a while.

Don't freak out...some babies never crawl.  Some babies go straight to walking...so don't worry!

DD is just turning 8 months this weekend and no crawling yet either.  Scooting around some and wiggling lots.

Will be 8 months on the 23rd and no crawling. She wants to and she has pushed herself backwards by trying. But still no crawling. I don't think it's anything to worry about. I asked my Mom when I started crawling and she said at about 9 or 10 months. I then thought... "OK, so I was a late crawler and I turned out just fine... this is nothing to be concerned about PLUS I have some extra time with her not getting into everything."

As long as your LO is meeting other milestones, I wouldn't worry at all. In another topic about crawling, a PP said that crawling isn't even a developemental milestone.
