Water in sippy cup question

Do I just put a little tap water in or do I need to buy bottled?

Re: Water in sippy cup question

  • I don't drink our tap water, so I don't expect my baby to... but I guess it depends on your tap.

  • I use filtered tap water, because that's what we drink.

  • Ditto others, depends on how good your tap is. If we were still in the NYC tap area, I'd use tap water. But we're on a well and I don't trust the well water for her because of possible bacteria, etc., so we use bottled.

  • I just give him tap water that's been in the fridge. I use tap water when I make formula for his cereal, too.

    This.

This, too. But our pedi said that if we were to used bottled, it should be the kind with fluoride added.

Weird, our pedi said NOT to use the bottled water that has fluoride added because it's impossible to know how much they're getting. Instead, she wrote an Rx for vitamins for DD that have the proper amount of fluoride. I think it's hilarious how pedis all say different things.
