What bone do you have to pick this week?

Re: **Whine Wednesday**

  • Audrey's sleep is not getting better.  I was up with her for an hour stretch and a 90 minute stretch last night.  She wasn't really fussy, just awake and using me as a pacifier.  She still won't take a real pacifier!!!  How the hell am I going to handle this when I go back to work?

And somehow both girls have the knack of waking up at the same time in the mornings and I'm forced to listen to one of them cry/whine more than I would like =(

  • Ugh, something is going on with the dog.  He itches all the time, but we haven't found any fleas.  We gave him a flea bath and frontlined him anyway (which I hate to do b/c Jules climbs all over him) and he doesn't seem any better.  Yesterday his skin looked really red, and DH said his skin is really dry.  We haven't changed his food or done anything different.   I feel like a bad pet parent. He needs to go to the vet but it is so not a good $ week to go!  Our vet is $$$ (are there any that aren't?) and he is such a handful at the vet, and add Jules to that mix, how the heck will I take them both??

And Jules has 5 mosquito bites on her face, I guess we're done playing outside.  They just keep attacking her poor face.

  • We have had our flights to fly home for Thanksgiving since June and specifically bought the ones we did because they were direct flights, and now we get a 'itinerary change' and we have to have a layover coming back.  A 50 min layover with two kids the day after Thanksgiving...I hope our first flight isn't delayed at all!  I'm so annoyed.
  • I obsessively plan when we go on vacation (itineraries, maps, dining reservations each day). We leave for Disney on Sunday with DH's entire family of "just-wing-it"'ers. They will not commit to any specific plans because it "takes the fun out of vacation"... however then we're expected to hang out and bond as a family- which due to poor planning on their part ends up with 9pm dinners EVERY TIME because they refused to make reservations. I forsee many, many meltdowns this week.

oh man!  At Disney you have to plan!  Try to stay calm and have a good time.

I have nothing to whine about really, i'm just feelng really run down.  I'm in that weird state where I feel like i'm getting sick but it might just be allergies.  My head is in a fog, and i could really just crawl under my desk and take a nap right now.

  • I love that DH is handy. But when he attempts to fix something, in this case our fridge, and it keeps breaking, I get annoyed! This is the 5th time that I've had to empty our fridge. Thank heavens we another fridge in the in-law apartment but still. I'm getting overly annoyed at taking everything out of our fridge and moving it over to the other fridge. I want to call a repair man. DH: I can fix it, no problem. Ugh. Then fix it already!!

The thing that's most annoying is that we had a much newer and working fridge that we just got rid of. I wanted to keep that one but since it was smaller DH was set against it. So, here we are without a fridge again.

  • I have "labor buddies" on another board and they haven't been on in a week, so they missed the posting about who was paired with whom, and I was kind of looking forward to it, so I hope they don't turn out to be duds.

I am feeling ridiculously tired of late. Like I get to 8:30 and pass out on the couch and DH wakes me up to say he is going upstairs. I don't remember being like this until 3rd tri. Want my energy back!

Charlotte's party is next weekend and Kevin's stupid OOT family is coming and that means his cousins are coming too and they will take up my whole couch and I am irrationally annoyed that more of his family is coming than mine. Because I am 5 and like my family better. Wah.

  • This is probably more of a FFFC but I am pretty sure I would be fine not having sex again until TTC#3. Maybe it's a pg thing, but I'm NEVER interested. Poor DH.
  • Ok, I have another. I'm sorry, I haven't whined in a couple weeks, I guess I was saving it all up.

MIL just texted to ask what size shoe Charlotte is wearing now. She then proceeded to text me a picture of the shoes she is looking at. They have a heel. Albeit a tiny wee little heel, but geez, the kid is learning to walk and can't even do it barefoot, why would you be picking out shoes with heels? I am glad she is into her grandchild and everything, but really? Heels for a 1 yr old? Oh brother. I just said "cute" because they are. They just are not practical. She has all the grace and coordination of a newborn giraffe. Oh brother.

  • Lame whine, but I want new clothes.  I want some pretty, girly clothes.  Everything I have bought for the last few years has been so practical, that I want some pretty clothes...but....I want to wait until I lose the weight first.  That could be a whole other whine post, but it is my own lack of motivation, so really not too much to whine about there...so a few more months until a major shopping excursion...maybe after Christmas sales :)

  • I know DH is trying to get everything done at work so that he can be home and focused when we get home with Baby 2 but the late nights are killing me b/c my body is in so much pain...My @SS and back are shot by noon and granted I push myself all day to play on the floor at the park or wherever for L- but bath time is seriously painful...and I'm not letting him go weeks without one nor am i going to let him stay up all hours til DH gets home...

Also, this could be a FFC but I'm totally freaking out about how I'm going to handle having 2 kids- especially the 3-8pm time slot of the day...after nap just drags with L- I dont know why even having to cook dinner and all that in there- and I totally said to DH- we should have been one and done last night...(hangs head)
