MrsGo4Hockey or other car seat specialists

We just switched my daughter over to the Graco My Ride today. We had them help us install it today at our police station. The car seat tech had a lot of trouble getting it tight and wanted my husband to try and get it tighter when he got home. Is this a hard seat to install? We used the latch system and it seems to be tilted a little to the side. Is there somewhere else I could bring it to get it checked out? I feel like if it's this much trouble to get it tight I may just want to get a different seat? Or maybe she just didn't have any experience with getting this carseat in? TIA!

We have the My ride, and didn't seem to have a problem getting it in tight...my commander has reclining back seats, and we did have to recline it a little bit to get it to fit properly otherwise it was too upright and didn't sit right against the seat.  Its in there good and tight now.  Did your husband get in the car put his knee in the seat and pull for all his might?  That's what we did to get it tight.  Gopher will have better advice then I did :)

I've never had an issue with the my ride. I think it's one of the easiest seats to install, and with latch, it shouldn't be tilted. The tilting will happen sometimes with a lap/shoulder belt, but it shouldn't with latch.

I'd be able to meet you sometime if you'd want me to take a look at it.
