How long are your LO's nursing sessions?

DD has gotten super efficient over the last month or so. She generally nurses both sides, but only 4-7 minutes each side, so she's done in 10-15 minutes. I can't complain, it makes life way easier on me than the 30-40 minute session days. And she's always been in the 90th percentiles for size, so I know I don't have to worry about her not getting enough. I'm just amazed that she can be done so quickly.

Out of curiosity, how long does your LO nurse?

About the same unless she is distracted. But if we are in a quiet room with no distractions, she eats and moves on. No diddle daddling

It varies, normally 5-15 minutes. If she is distracted than 30 or so.

Mine is about the same now...about 5 min per side, except for the last feeding of the day when he'll usually go 20-30 min per side. The shorter nursings are nice in a way, but I kind of miss the quiet/cuddle time. I'm glad he still has a longer session at night.

Actually nursing? 5 minutes a side. It usually take three times as long because he would rather look around/smile/talk/blow raspberries.

Usually about 5 minutes per side here.  Except the last one at night - that is longer (maybe like 20 minutes for both sides).

I work full-time, so I wonder if this affects it...but it's usually 15-30 min per side. Most of it is comfort nursing, I'm sure. Makes for a tired mama at 3am...

C only feeds one side and it takes about 5 min. At about 3 months we stopped using shields and our nursing sessions went from 1/2 hr to 5 min and she gained a substantial amount of weight. It was wonderful!

This exactly.  I'm lucky if i can get him to nurse continuously for 2 minutes these days (unless its at night).
