I'm traveling with my 6 month old to the other coast for two weeks. It will be a 3 hr time change. I'm not so nervous about the flight, but I don't know what to expect with how her schedule might change. Has anyone done this? Advice?
We live in Seattle and took DS to Michigan at the beginning of September (he was 6 1/2 months old). We booked our flights to be when he'd be sleeping and made sure to get direct flights. He slept like a champ there and back, and I nursed him the one time he got up and he went right back to sleep.
As far as the time change, it was harder on DH and I then on DS. He still ate when hungry and slept when sleepy, meaning our first night there he was up pretty late and we were tired. It really wasn't a big deal though, just know that the schedule will need to be flexible and just follow your little gal's clues. DS adjusted after about 2 days. Good luck!
