I have searched high and low for one of my dearest friends from high school.  We lived together when we were in our young 20s and just sorta grew apart.  I searched for her on facebook, but could never find her.  Well, she found me yesterday.  Her profile is under her married name, so I would have never found her.  It feels so great to be in touch with her again.

Isn't it the best? I spend more time on fb than on the nest now. I love it. I've found quite a few of my old friends that I thought I had lost forever.

I love it too. Not long ago I changed my name to put my maiden name in too so other people might have an easier time finding me. I've found some of my friends because they did that.

I love it too! Not just old friends from high school and stuff.  My next door neighbour growing up was my best friend in the whole world until her family moved to India when we were 13 years old.  We kept in touch by writing letters a couple times a year for the first 2 or 3 years, but eventually completely lost touch.  Now she found me on facebook and I was thrilled.  Turns out she just published a book and named one of the characters after me!  We have been writing back and forth at least twice a week for the last 2 months now.

Me too!  Although there are still a few people I am waiting for to join. It is so crazy to see all of these old friends married with kids and stuff!  And some of their kids are old!
