When to have another...

I am going to talk to our doctor about this when I meet with him next but I wanted to hear what your doctors have said as well.

LO is only 2 weeks so we aren't thinking anytime in the immediate future but are curious because we do want our kids pretty close in age...and because we haven't decided what type of BC we will use once we get the all clear in a few weeks.

When is it safe to get pregnant again...especially for C/S mamas?

From what I've seen on here it really varies based on your doctor's opinion.

I was told at my yearly appointment that I could get pregnant at anytime.  I was 5 months PP.  I am now 10 months PP and we were thinking of possibly trying at some point next year.

I was told to wait a year, but that two years would be ideal... obviously I didn't listen!

I was told to wait a year but I think it's because of my major complications ...your OB will know best though

It varies. My OB says to wait 6 months.

Doctor said AT LEAST a year. Even 1 yr pp I wouldn't have felt comfortable getting preg (not that we were thinking about that at the time). My daughter is 2 now, I got preg a few months before her birthday. I think the longer you let your body recover, the better off your next pregnancy and delivery will be.
