Is this even worth exploring?

My sister is in love with her single BOB stroller. So much so that she wants to buy me the double as a gift for the new baby.  It's an extremely generous offer, and I don't think I would personally spend that much on a stroller if she wasn't offering.  I know she is really excited about it because she's loved hers so much.

The big hang up is that DH and I both have small cars. DH drives a Focus hatchback that rarely has DS in it and I drive a Nissan Versa.  I could possibly drive out to the nearest Buy Buy Baby and try to see if they will let me fit it into my trunk, but before I do that: Does anyone have experience with a BOB (or similar) double jogger in a small car?
