Middle name for Maya

My husband and I have pretty much decided on Maya for our daughters first name.  We would like to call her Maya Kate but we do not want to give her a official double first name.  So our thought was to have her middle name be shortened to Kate... 
1) Maya Katherine 
2) Maya Katelyn
3) or should we just name her Maya Kate and call her by her first and middle. 

hope this makes sense....

We would also be open to another middle name that can be shortened to Kate.

I think Kate works as a stand alone middle name. If you definitely want a longer name, I'd go with Maya Katherine. Both sound great!

Maya's my current favorite also, hoping MH will come on board soon! I like Maya Kate on its own just a smidge better than Maya Katherine, but they're both beautiful. Either of those are my vote over Katelyn. Good luck!
