Any other babies only cat nap??

So I read posts about people's babies taking 2-3 hour naps during the day.  My baby will only take cat naps 30-45 minute long.  Is my baby the only one?  How do you all get your babies to take such long naps?  I'm jealous!

30 minutes-45 at most. If I try to lay him down for a nap it is like torture.

My DS used to take 2 hr naps in the AM and 2-3 hr naps in the PM.  Now he takes 3-4 1 hr naps through out the day.  I wish that he would go back to the old schedule because it was alot easier to get things done!

Yep. That's DS I'm lucky if he does 2 naps a day that are more than 30 minutes each.

DS used to nap for 45 minutes each nap.  Now that he's literally days away from his first birthday, he started napping 1.5 hours.  I read over and over how babies nap longer as they get older but I thought it'd never happen for us.  I hope your LO starts to nap longer, too!

DD typically does 3 30-45 minute naps a day.  Once in a greeeeeaaaatttt while she will nap for 1.5 hours and it's heavenly.

DD is a serial cat napper!  Has been since she was 3 months old.  She's now 7 mo.  She usually takes 2 30-45 minute naps and 1 1 hr nap during the day.  I feel so bad for her b/c she usually wakes up yawning, but when I try to put her back to sleep she fights it.  I hope what pp said is true...the older they get the longer the naps will be.  It's definitely hard getting things done when she's only asleep for half an hour!  I'm jealous, too, of the other moms who's babies sleep 2-3 hours!!!!

Nice to know I'm not the only one with a cat napper! I thought maybe I had done something wrong... DD takes 2, sometimes 3 30-45 min naps a day. I'm jealous of the ladies who get a long 2-3 hour nap!!

My DD is a cat napper as well....averaging 40 minutes.  I know she wakes up tired and I have tried to extend her nap but it just doesnt happen.  She takes 3 naps a day.

I know, I'm so jealous of those whose kids nap for extended periods. We've gotten a little better since teeth coming in! I would think all the new activity would be wearing him out!

ds only takes 30 min naps and has it timed down to the minute!!  it is comforting to see i am not alone but  it stinks!! i would kill for a 2 hour stretch!
