6 week check-up

what happened at your 6 week check-up? i'm mainly wondering if you had a pap done, even if you weren't due for one. 

with DD#1 i did have a pap at my check-up but i was due for one.

with DD #2 i had a pap done at my first apt, so i'm wondering if i'll have one again, or what the dr will check other than my incision.

I did have a pap smear because I was due for one.  But I also had a bimanual pelvic exam so I'm assuming that is standard regardless of whether you need a pap.

At my 6 week appt, the OB did an incision check and internal exam, but no pap smear because I was not due for one.

All they did at my 6 week was an incision check. She asked how I was doing and such, but she didn't even do an internal.  I was due for a Pap, but the doctor wasn't my regular provider. She was just the on call when I had my unplanned c/s.  Maybe that is why she didn't do as much.

I was due for a pap but my doctor won't perform a pap after a c-section until 12 weeks pp. He just checked my incision to make sure it was healing properly and that was about it.

Last time, my OB did a pap at my 6 week check up bc my pap at the beginning of my pregnancy was abnormal. This time, I wasn't due for one at my first appt so he didn't do one; I'm sure he'll do one this time at my pp check up.
