I know how to send (go to someone's bio, you can click on a link to send a PM right near their name).  Don't know how to receive PMs, though.  It's one of the big Nest mysteries.

 ETA: Hmmm, it's not there now.  But, DandR's way works.

ok, so if you go to send another PM, then you can see how many you've sent and recieved...it has a "messages" tab that you click on to see all of them.

So if you go in your profile, and click on friends, then click on "see all friends" there is a messages tab!

Now that seems stupid....you won't know there's a PM there unless you check all the time or the person tells you. Thanks Nest, for giving us a solid notification system!

You can use the contact button if you want to SEND one but I don't think you can retrieve one that way.

thank you all for solving that great Nest mystery!  I have now discovered a PM that I've had waiting for almost a week!

yeah, you can retrieve them that way too..hit contact, switch to friend tab and back to message tab, and its there.
