I feel like every 15 minutes I have to yell at Ethan to leave sophia alone.  He is constantly wrestling her or pushing her down.  If you have 2 how long does this phase last? I am sick of it

It's the opposite in my house...Leah is the one that always wants to wrestle and chase Evan around! He loves it. Until she gets carried away and bites him. I have to warn her a thousand times not to bite. I dunno - I imagine one sibling picking on the other is gonna last about 18 years or so...

Yeah, I am guessing about 18 yrs.  Then at least it isn't so much my problem any more.  My two are aweful, they especially fight in the car.  They kick each other, unbuckle their carseats to hit each other.  They just can't leave each other alone!  It took me over an hour to drop Ty off at school EVERY SINGLE DAY last week because I had to keep pulling over.  They reduced me to tears at least twice last week with their fighting alone.  I talked with the behavior lady who comes to our house just last week, she said I need to train Anna to leave Ty alone.  Yeah, right.  Right now she is the worst instigator.  If Tyler was normal, I would be teaching Ty to leave her alone and how to blow off the things she does to get him going, but that isn't an option.

We are about 4.5 years into this and it drives me nuts.  Even if it isn't 'fighting" per se, it is me telling them to keep their hands off each other.  It's always going to be something - like what TV show they get to watch, toys, car rides, etc. When they get older, there is that competitive aspect, like who gets to play what instrument and so on.

UGH.  Everyone says it gets easier with 2 after the baby stage, but Mia screamed for 6 months, then was instantly mobile at 6.5 months (pulling up and crawling) and has been driving Owen crazy ever since.  First it was just getting into his stuff, but now it is the full fighting, arguing and tattling.  I am not seeing any end in sight.

Me too!  I don't remember fighting all that much with my sister until we were teenagers.  But then it became meeeaan fighting.  Now we are great though.  So there is eventual hope.

FYI- in our house, it didn't start until Anna became mobile.  Ty loved her as an infant.  At first it was a lot of him worrying about her and what she may get into.  Then it became fun and competitive.  Not competitive for attension, but just to see who will win.  I am told, all very normal.  There should be a point when the older one matures out of it so it becomes less frequent.
