cloth friendly detergent ?

I was just curious if any detergent as long as its dye and perfume free will work??

I recently just bought Tide Free and Gentle to wash LO's cloths and bedding in before she arrives and wanted to know if I could use this to prepare the cloth diapers as well or if I needed some other type of cloth diaper detergent???

    I know of some people that make their own detergent but I?m playing it safe using Bum Genius detergent on all my BG?s.

    I switched from All Free and Clear to regular powder Tide.  I think it works better.

    I originally planned to just use All F&C but decided it really wasn't worth the risk of a big hassle. So we switched over to Charlie's and have been pleased so far.

    We have Allen's Naturally, which my SIL uses on her BG's. I've used it to wash all LO's things, and will use it for her CD's.
