One of the band members from the Sheep Dogs is named Leot.  What do you think?  DH said he kind of liked it, I think it could grow on me. Too much like Leo - why the T?  I think I like the sound of it

I looked it up and it says it is a girls name of German origin.  I don't know who Sheep Dog is, so not sure if you would use it for a girl or boy.  It's NMS, but atleast it's not made up.  I would at first glance pronounce it Lee - ott, so it may be pronounced wrong a lot, just MO.

It makes me think of Liat (lee-AHT), a Hebrew girl's name.

I think it would be mispronounced, "Le-ott" - this is what I first thought when I read it. Otherwise, it's kind of catchy!
