I am normally pretty meh about DD tantrums - which is easy b/c she doesn't have them too often and I can jsut walk away if she's drives me too nuts or I start to get frustrated. This weekend, she screamed at me - in the car - at decibels not normally heard in humans - for literally 20 minutes straight. It was incredibly frustrating b/c I KNEW she was tired (and had been for awhile, so I drove her around hoping she'd go to sleep) but then I set her off by touching the mail (OMG, terrible Mommy) and she just went ballistic. It was so, so awful. I finally caved and twitsted my arm back so she could hold my hand (while driving 70 miles an hour) whihc was what she was screaming/begging for so she would go to sleep. Then it took about 8 minutes for her to sack out. It was so awful. I did a total sobbing ugly cry on DH when I finally got home - and I was so exhausted I went to bed 2 hours early. This was Saturday and I'm honestly still a little worn out from this. I am PRAYING this was just an off day and not a preview of the 3s!!
