I remember someone posted about their LO's who had TTTS and they came to Cincinnati for surgery. Does anyone know specifically who that was? I am wondering if you saw the Univ. of Cincy MFM's and specifically which Dr. If you don't feel like sharing online, you can PM me. Thanks!

Re: Who was it? RE:TTTS, Cincinnati
Honestly he was Debbie Downer at first, and I was mad at him because he didnt think I had TTTS and all he could say was you have something wrong but I am not sure what.
DH had started a new job the week prior to me going so my dad of all people went with me. He and my dad were very similar and joked a lot with one another (that was a bit odd considering the circumstances) and he actually lived in my hometown for a while and then has family in my current town. So, after all the connections were made he lighted up a bit and I honestly respected him a little more.
I am an overly sensitive person as it is and the pregnacy made it 20x worse. I left every appointment just drained emotionally because of the unknown. At 18 weeks, when DH came to his first ultrasound with me to find out the sexes, we had to have the conversation that our babies could die in utero without anyone knowing and that if one died the other could die and there is nothing I could do about it.
I would honestly give him another chance. He offered to be my MFM and if he wasnt 3 hours away and I didnt already love my MFM who reffered me to him, I probably would have taken up on it because he is the best.
Hang in there and if you ever need to vent, talk, or ask me a question, feel free to send me an email at caitdana at hotmail.com
I was seen at Cincinnatti when I went for the laser procedure. I went into preterm labor so I as followed by the MFM team there for two weeks. I mainly saw Dr. Habli and Dr. Polzin - both were unbelievable!!!!!!!! Definitely recommend them! Since I could not have my doctors here, they were the next best thing!
Good luck.
I was treated at Cincinnati Children's as well. I mainly saw Dr Crombleholme and Dr Polzin, but I did also see most of the other dr's once or twice. Dr Keswani was nice, and Dr Habli was okay, but I didn't care for Dr J.
Dr Crombleholme is my hero!! No matter how bad things got he was always positive and supportive. He and Dr. Polzin did my Laser surgery, but Dr Coppage delivered my boys.
BFP #2 - 12/9/09 After being on bedrest for 10 weeks due to TTTS and hospital bedrest for 4 weeks due to PPROM, my sticky babies are here! Born at 32 weeks!!
