For the longest time I wanted to be a vet. Then I realized I couldn't handle blood so that was out.

Then I loved music and wanted to be a band teacher. Then we had a student teacher in band and she was telling us about her journey and I just didn't want to do it anymore.

I wanted to be a nurse, teacher and princess. My H calls me a princess, I teach my son each day and I still hope one day to do something in the medical field.

When I was young I wanted to be a vet. then in HS I loved wild animals and research. I have a degree in wildlife science, but am a Tech at a vet hospital... so sorta.

Wow, I dont even know where to start. I always wanted to be a teacher (which I have done!), wanted to own a bakery, wanted to be a children's librarian, vet, photographer, wedding dress designer (think Vera Wang), or anything that had to do with horses. I also wanted to be Anne of Green Gables, or be on the Olympic equestrian team. I'm sure there's more.

Oh! And an author. I spent many many many hours "writing books" for my dolls.

Well I have always wanted to be a business owner and I am so goal accomplished. Not all the glory that I thought it was going to be but still very proud of what I have done with it. 

 I have always wanted to be a nurse, I think I will do it when Hailey goes to school.

I wanted to be a model (that lasted for about a month or two, although I did model in the window of a GAP department store...I stood there until they draped things on me ). I was hardcore dentist for a long time, until my mom changed my mind. I'm glad I'm not a dentist, but I'm not a Veterinarian either, which is what she suggested. I witnessed tails being docked, and I nearly fainted. That was after I spent a year in vet tech/grooming school. Oh well, it was free. Then I wanted to be an event coordinator, and I did that for four years.

I wanted to be a teacher, an actress or a singer. :-) I'm with pp, I teach Em everyday. I have done some acting in church plays and I sing regularly. I'm not as famous as I'd hoped, but I'm enjoying being able to sing when I get the chance!

I wanted to be a lot of things - marine biologist, forest planter, snowplow driver, but always came back to wanting to be a teacher, so here I am, finishing up my lesson planning for the week on a Sunday night.

I always wanted to be a vet, and now I am one.  The other thing I always thought I'd love to be was a writer.. guess there's always still time for that if I ever got an idea for a book.

I wanted to be Paula Abdul ( check my 5th grade yearbook). Then I wanted to be a pediatric cardiologist. I always really wanted to be a mommy (doing that currently).Publishing a novel was high on the list for some time. Some days I feel like I'm still figuring it out.

From as young as 4, I wanted to be a pediatric cardiologist! Then I wanted to be a singer, then a Labor & Delivery Nurse, and finally a Stay-home Mom. I am currently a SAHM, but sometimes I do think about finishing school to become a midwife. Still in the field of childbirth, but not as grueling of a schedule as a L&D Nurse!

When I was little I always said I wanted to be a teacher and a mommy. Once I hit my teens I wanted to be a photographer...doing that now.

In Preschool I wanted to be a Mom, Elementary School a teacher and jr high on a photographer and a teacher. I went to college and was a teacher for 2 years, then became a Mom and now working on the photography part.

From a very early age, a doctor - I wanted to deliver babies.  That lasted 2 years of pre-med in college and then I switched to Engineering, the field I'm in now.

i used to want to be a "fly girl" (background dancer for in living color or something like that)...then i wanted to be an actress, then a singer....i've never stopped wanting to be a singer...i just know it's not realistic anymore. i think around early high school i decided i wanted to be a SAHM...... hopefully i get to do that soon, but until then, i'm in engineering.

I have wanted to do what I do since I was a little girl - government worker!  [with pizazz I hope].

Comic writer, actress, improv star, lawyer....all up there too.  I still would love to go do improv.

 I wanted to be a lawyer. It's sord of an odd thing to want when you're little! However, my uncle and grandfather were lawyers. I work in corporate law although not as a lawyer. Close enough.

I also wanted to sing. I sang in choirs, took piano and sang in vocal jazz groups all through high school and picked up voice again within the past few years. Although I'm not a "professional" like I wanted to be when I was little, at least I still do it!

I wanted to be a Vet since I LOVED animals all the way up until Middle school.  Then I wanted to be a singer/actress.  I never wanted to be a mommy until my mid 20's and it's the best decision I ever made. Now, I am a singing mommy...hahaha.

I wanted to be a spy! Besides that, I don't think I really came up with just one profession I wanted to do. I told my parents I wanted to be a scholar, but they burst my bubble and told me I needed to make some money. Finally (around age 9 or 10?), I got sick of people asking so I started telling them I wanted to be an axe murderer, just so they'd quit bothering me about it...yikes! Now I'm an engineer and I enjoy it, though I never dreamed about being one as a kid.

I wanted to be a vet too. And even planned on going to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. At 14, I started working in restaurants and then decided I wanted to be a manager of a fine dining restaurant. I went to WAZZU to study Hospitality Business Management but when they told me I had to take statistics, I dropped out and became a general studies major. I graduated from EWU with a social sciences major and now I'm in HR. I'm considering going back to school for a degree in the medical field.....guess I'll have to wait on gummy bear now

My dream was to be a preschool teacher up until I got married, then I wanted to be a stay at home mom. My husband and I are both from CA (He's stationed at Ft. Lewis) So I quit my teaching job to move, and we were working on the "SAHM gig" until we got word of his deployment. Now i'm looking to be a foster mom
