You could try checking out Freecycle too. It might be a long shot, but you never know. I actually got my tandem double for $35 at a garage sale and my double jogger for $50 at a resale. They are nothing fancy, but they do the job.

Have you seen the Joovy x2? It is a lightweight double stroller that retails for $199You can find some good reviews of it on youtube. Just depends on if you want tandem or side by side.

New things get posted daily on craigslist, so I would keep checking there.  Plus check babies r us and make sure to have a 20% off coupon.

You still have a long time to go to continue to save-I wouldnt worry.

Ditto the PPs who suggested craigslist. You can also avoid buying a double stroller if you wear the youngest in a carrier and push the oldest in the single stroller if money is that tight.

I also recommend Craigslist.  I sold our "sort of" double stroller (UppaBaby Vista plus Rumble seat) for SEVERAL hundred dollars below what it would sell for in a store, just because I wanted to get rid of it and it was taking up so much space in our house.  There are deals to be found!!

You should also check your local consignment stores, or the big consignment sales.  I'm sure you could score a great stroller at one of them!!

I have this stroller as well and I can fit it into the trunk of my Nissan Sentra.

The Baby Trend double jogger is also inexpensive. You don't have to spend $600 on a double stroller.

THIS!!! I definitely needed one and had little to no money. I got really lucky and found the Kolcraft Contours on Craigslist for 35 bucks!! Try looking in the Upper Middle class listings. It looks like new she must've barely used it because she didn't even know how to fold it up. GL!!!
