If you use(d) a Graco double stroller with 1 carseat

Do you put the carseat in the front seat or the back? The instructions aren't very clear. Having the car seat in the front seems a little awkward to me, but if I had the carseat in the back and DS #1 in the front he wouldn't be able to recline very far.

We put the carseat in the back and DD1 in the front. The seat can't recline then, but that doesn't seem to bother DD1, and she can see better from the front anyway. 

If I remember right, the instructions for our said to put the heavier of the two in the front. So for us 9 lbs of car seat plus 6 lbs of baby is 15lbs in the back seat, and DD1 is 23 lbs in the front seat.

The front seat of my old Gracobaby doesn't recline so this isn't a problem. I don't think my older son would want to recline now anyway.

We put the car seat in the back, but you can attach the cup holders in the front (remove the bar that it comes with) and clip it into place in the front, if you prefer. My son was 11 months old when #2 was born. If I was taking them somewhere near nap time ex: to walk, I usually took #2 out of his car seat so they could both recline if needed.
