So I got a BFP, as I posted below, yesterday morning on day 22 of my normal 27 day cycle. I was due for my period on this coming tues. So when I did the due date calculator it says I am 4 weeks on Thursday (I guess since its based on a 28 day cycle). I started feeling sick 2 days before I got my BFP, so at day 20, and I O'd on day 13 or 14....SO isnt that really early to get a BFP and feel sick? It comes in waves and I get the smell sensitivity thing too....am I in for it?? ![]()
With my first, I felt lightheaded and a tad sick the day before 4 weeks til 10.5 weeks. I was sick and vomitted once a week.
With my second, I didnt have any symptoms until 5-6 weeks and it lasted til 16 wks and I was sick a lot more and was on zofran, it was bad.
I know every pg is different, but I keep saying to DH that its so weird how sick I feel for how far (or not far) along I am.
anyone test really early (10 DPO) and feel sick a day or so before then?? Dh jokes its twins....I may die if it is

Re: Feeling sick early/getting an early BFP
Sadly I've been pregnant 5 times now.
I've felt symptoms earlier with each pregnancy and have been progressively sicker with each one.
I'd be getting the Zofran lined up if I were you!
And.... CONGRATS!!!
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
This. I've only been pregnant twice but I felt sick both times before getting a BFP.
It could be possible that you're just under the weather...
In any case, CONGRATULATIONS!
Thank you
I have some zofran from my ovarian cyst issues a few months ago. I think Ill call to get a scrpt in as well.
this is a fear of mine! 4 under 3.5 might put me over the edge
Im sure its just that this pregnancy is much different than last. I am feeling the same way I did at 6 or so weeks with my other children. I get nauseous when im hungry, and when I smelll something weird I gag. I am SO tired already, and Im technically 3w3d today! so weird. I hope it stays this way and wont get worst, but I know that not realistic. each day I feel a tad worse, which reassures me things are ok for now.
I have twins after trying to conceive for over a year. I did take 1 cycle of clomid due to being anovulatory so I'm sure that is what kicked 2 eggs out, however, twins do run in my family (3 sets on my Mom's side. Last set was my great aunt and it skipped my Mom and onto me). My cousin also has twins. I had a very easy pregnancy for twins and carried them to 36 weeks with A being 5lbs 10oz and B being 6lbs 2oz. I had horrible nausea for the first 11 weeks and then just some minor back pain and bedrest due to swelling.
We are currently TTC #3 (or maybe #4, too). I have been feeling very off this month. Last time I came off the pill, we waited a few months to try due to my doctor's suggestion. I always had very irregular cycles. Last time I came off the pill the first month was 28 days just like the pill and then progressively got longer and longer with each month. Because of that, we started trying right away.
I recently had a UTI and the only other time I've ever had one was before I found out I was pregnant with the boys. I've also been very tired sleeping a lot more than nomal and have had a lot of headaches and sharp pains/cramping on and off. Hoping all of this is a good sign!
Twins are rough for the first 6 months but I assure you, it gets easier as time goes on. They are a 'handful' like many people think they are. I always hated it when I told strangers I was pregnant with twins and they'd say 'good luck'. Any baby is a blessing, let alone two. Mine were colicky for the first 9 months and that was extremely difficult but we're all still here and doing well!
