Benched indefinitely

I have a long history of lower back problems due to a herniated disc. I have been to physical therapy twice and have been managing the pain for a long time. I was worried I would have difficulty with my first pregnancy but I got through it with one or two painful episodes that were brought on due to lack of exercise. My hack has been hurting off and on for a long time and last weekend it just started to get worse. I almost made it through the week at work and even went to my follow up appt with the OB on Thursday which was also the same day AF returned. I was feeling OK on Thursday and was really excited to be back on the TTC wagon. Yesterday morning I had to leave work super early because the back pain turned for the worse. It got so bad I could barely get out of the car and I was crawling around the house super slow. DH came home and took me to urgent care and I got some drugs. I have been laid up on my back ever since. Going to the bathroom from the couch is an ordeal. Its been so emotional for me because I have a 2 year old that expects me to play with him and doesn't understand why I keep yelling at him to stop jumping on the couch while I am laying on it. Also, I came to the realization yesterday that I mc'd for a reason and that I need to get this problem taken care of once and for all before I can get pg again. So, I am benched....I will still be a regular on TTCAL because it does make me feel good to be part of this group.Is there a daily or weekly check in for the ladies who are benched? if not, I wouldn't mind starting one up.

I am so sorry that your back is giving you so many problems ((hugs)) as for the weekly bench check-in. I am not sure I know there is a Ladies in Waiting check in each week you might want to check out.

I am sorry for your frustrations.  We are kind of going through this in my home, my husband has a herniated and a bulged disk in his neck, and is in terrible pain, & I just dont know what is going to happen next!!!!  Hugs!!
