Is it just me?

It seems many shows I've been watching on tv lately have had miscarriage/abortion in the story line. Grey's Anatomys first episode of this season,American Horror Story series premiere,and I've heard it's in the movie The Help also. Just when you think you're having a good day,this stuff opens your wounds back up. I was just wondering if any of you have noticed more of this topic coming up in tv shows or movies?

You are not alone.  I noticed it on Grey's (I don't watch the other shows), but it really got to me on Grey's.  I was so mad at Cristina,  I was thinking, what an ungrateful little BIT#*, LOL!  I think when something major is happening in your life you tend to notice it all around you.  I went on FB last night and I swear, every updated pic on my wall had a baby in it!  I just slammed my laptop shut, I didn't want to look anymore.

I have noticed it more.  I wonder if it is just our experiences that make us more sensitive to it or is it really something that awareness is going to be raised about?  That would be a positive in such a crappy situation.

This is how I feel I think. Although we are super sensitive to it, it is also a good think that it raises awareness about miscarriage/pregnancy loss since many times it's not talked about.

I have noticed too! Both with Grey's (which makes me so angry!! Not one but TWO?!?!) And I did watch American Horror Story. The timing between my loss and these shows I watch do blow my mind!

And I was FB stalking (and DEPRESSING) myself the other night. Who doesn't have awesome pregnancies and babies (besides me....). That's how it feels.

I have a few friends currently pregnant or recently gave birth. I find myself going through and clicking 'hide story' once I congratulate them and read their post. I hope everyone will be lighting a candle on Saturday in memory of our angels. T&P with all of you.
