Has anyone done fall family photos recently?

I need some help on what to dress us all in. (Family of 4; 2 boys) We're taking outdoor photos in about 2 weeks. If you have any family pics you wouldn't mind PIPing, or just some suggestions, I'd love to see them. 

On a related note - where is your favorite place to shop for yourself? I've been looking for clothes online, and I don't know why, but I'm having a hard time finding a fall outfit I like. I figure I'll start with myself and build around that. : )

We had them taken last fall. We did mainly browns for the men and plum/pink for the ladies/girls.

As far as shopping for me goes, I love The Limited. Their clothing tends to fit me the best.

We just did ours last week, let me see if I can pip, a proof real quick.

We just did ours last weekend. We did grey, a burnt orange and a dark teal for colors. I wore skinny jeans, grey boots and a dark teal sweater/wrap thing with a chunky orange necklace. MH wore jeans, grey converse, a button down and a burnt orange pullover sweater. DS#1 (4 years old) wore jeans, converse, a grey military style type jacket over a burnt orange shirt and DS#2 (1 year old) wore jeans, converse and a white shirt with a tie sewed on out of argyle fabric that had grey, orange and teal in it. I am super happy with how all the clothing looked together. I found if you google "what to wear fall family photos" a bunch of photogs have sample outfits for you to look at on their blogs.

We were going to do the jewel tone oranges, purples, and greens that are "in" this fall.  Alas, DH didn't get home in time for pictures.  DD is in my sig. in the purple, though.

we're having ours done in a few weeks and it's a big group.  my folks, my brother, and the 4 of us.  We're doing black or shades of grey on top, khakis on bottom and I will dress the kids in whatever color I can find  two matching outfits in.  Probably fall colors.  I hope it's still warmish and not raining on Nov 6!
