appointment at 16w4d will they be able to tell the sex?

I have an appt. next week, and I know they're going to do an us, but it isn't the anatomy scan.  Will they be able to tell the twins sex then or am I going to have to wait for the anatomy scan?

I'd say most likely, especially if you're seeing your MFM (they usually have better sono machines).

Good luck to you!  At my NT scan the tech guessed that baby B is a boy, but I was only 12 weeks, so she said it was really a guess.  I'm really hoping they can tell on Tuesday!!!

We found out it was boys at 16wk 5d and had it confirmed at 17 wk 1d at the MFM appointment.    GL!

I was told boy/girl at the 16week apt, and they were wrong...

Its possible especially if you're seeing your mfm...I'm going to mine one the 19th and I will be 15+2, he told us that he would more then likely be able to tell us the sex of the babies then...I sure hope so because I am so anxious to know.

I found out as early as 14 weeks the sex of one of the babies and then the 2nd one showed her good at 16 weeks. They were both reconfirmed to be girls at my 20 week a/s. So YES i'd say you'll for sure be able to find out as long as they're both cooperative. Let you U/S tech know that you would like to know though right off the bat.

Yes, as long as the babies cooperate and the ultrasound machine is a better one. We found out boys at exactly 17 wks. and that was our anatomy scan.
