NBR: Chicken Spaghetti

Does anyone have a tried and true chicken spaghetti recipe that they wouldn't mind passing along?

TIA

  • I like Pioneer Woman's chicken spaghetti, though I think it's a tad too salty so I use 1/2 tsp of Lawry's season salt instead of the full tsp.

  • Not sure if this is something you would be interested in but my family and son love this: Mexican Pasta Caserole

    1 pound pasta

1 small container of sour cream

Cooked chicken cut into pieces (on lazy days I get the perdue pre-cooked chicken)

1 jar of salsa (I use mild, but you can go as hot as you like)

    1 jar campbells cheddar soup

1 stick of cheddar jack cheese cut into cubes.

Add cooked pasta, and all the ingredients mix well and place in a oven safe bowl or caserole dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 then stir and bake an additional 10 minutes.

The original recipe has french's fried onions that you place on top in the last 10 minutes of cooking, but I don't use it.

Another dish I love but Dillon could live without is this one:  https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/chicken-with-mustard-mascarpone-marsala-sauce-recipe/index.html

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

  • Thanks you guys, I'm a little scared about the pimentos (not my fav) but I think I'll give it a shot!

I agree with both about the PW's recipe...the only thing I didn't like was that the onions were still raw in mine (maybe I didn't chop them fine enough?!) I vowed to saute them a bit next time.  That was my only complaint.

I'm cheap- I use red pepper instead and I like the little crunch it gives too!
