Diaper bag?

What do you ladies use for a "diaper bag"? I am using a kid size duffle bag now for DD1. It works fine for just her but I think I will need something a bit bigger when DD2 comes. I mostly carry small toys/books/crayons plus snacks for DD1 besides a few diapers/wipes and a change of clothes.

I have tried a few traditional diaper bags but I was never a huge fan but I am open to suggestions with DD#2 coming soon.

Thanks!

Re: Diaper bag?

  • I currently have a Columbia Trekster diaper bag, but I may just get a slightly larger back pack soon.

After recommendations from other Moms I plan on having a box or tote in my car with extra diapers, wipes, formula, clothes and bottles/cups so I don't have to carry it all in my diaper bag, but I'm still prepared if I need extra.

  • I just carry a regular diaper bag. I don't even know what brand, something from BRU that DH didn't think was too girly :P It stays stocked with diapers for both girls, wipes, a change of clothes for DD2. I add the extras we need depending on the outing. If it's an all day thing, then I toss an extra bag in the car in case we run out of anything. Otherwise I just add sippies/snacks/toys/etc. as needed.

  • We use a large back pack, and a small one. Big one gets diapers, wipes, clothes, toys. Smaller bag gets bottles, snacks, ext .
