My name is Kat. Most of my info is in my siggy. We started TTC two years ago. We were successful on our second try but it ended in a miscarriage. We took the recommended 3 cycle break and then got pregnant again on our second try. Unfortunately we had another miscarriage. That was 14 months ago now. We took a longer break but have been ttc since February with no luck. I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and low progesterone.
After 3 cycles of low progesterone I made an appt with my RE. I just saw him this morning. I'm not sure what I expected him to say but I'm a bit surprised that he jumped straight to IUI. I guess I thought he was just going to tell me that I was overreacting and that I needed to just keep trying on my own. Even though that would have pissed me off.
Sooo...next cycle we will give IUI a try. I have mixed emotions about it but excited to be doing something.

BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)
3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!
Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500
First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat
LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!
TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015
Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015
Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270
First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.
JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

I remember you from TTCAL. We too are on to IUI next cycle and have been TTCAL since Feb. Hopefully your stay here is short!

The IUI itself is not a big deal at all-its the clomid and all its monitoring that's a pain! Good luck!
