Is the nasal one available? Is that even an option?

I think the nasal mist is always an option now, but it's not recommended for pregnant women because it contains the live virus. It's a weakened version, but it's still not a good idea. I think the regular old needle is the way to go.  

Good to know, thanks! I'm just on the fence; I cannot remember the last time I've gotten the shot and I've not been sick with the flu since middle/high school. Because of that, it's hard for me to rationalize with myself even getting it now. :::sigh:::

Already got it a few weeks ago and so glad I did. I've had the flu the past 2 years and it was miserable.

I plan on getting it and will ask at my OB appt on Tuesday if I can get it from them.  DH and both DDs will be getting them as well as DH is a med student doing clinical rotations and the girls are in school/daycare... Which reminds me I need to call their pedi's office and set it up.

I got my flu shot at my last doctor's appointment about 3 weeks ago.  Better to be safe for the both of you.
