If you have bunk beds...

Do you need a special mattress? Do you need a box spring too?

Someone is giving us a twin size bunk bed frame but I need to get mattresses and I'm not really sure what you need for bunk beds. TIA!

    You do not use a box spring, they have a different support system.  Google bunkie boards.  They may be giving these to you as well.  If that is the case then all you need are the mattresses.
