converting velcro to snaps?

I was reading about mandi doing this. I have 2 velcro BG (I know I'm pathetic) and I desperately need to replace the velcro in 1. I have been spending more money buying the new snaps for the rest of my BGs. There are tons 2nd hand in velcro at the store but I hate the velcro so much that I didn't even think of buying them.

I was looking into getting a velcro refresher kit but now that I have heard about this I am so excited to convert my velcro to snaps!!

This is where you guys come in. Help! How do I do this? Is there a step by step (preferably with pictures) tutorial? Where do I buy the snaps? Do I need a special tool for it? Can any other brand be converted? (I have a thirsties, softbums, gdiapers and AMP) TiA!!

You can get a snap press online and snaps...it takes some trial and error but is pretty easy. Google it and there will be a few youtube videos

I did find the youtube videos and am watching them now. I am still not sure where to buy the snaps..
