Britax B-Agile & B-Safe?

I went back a few pages and didn't see these discussed, but please point me in the right direction if they have been.

I went to BRU this weekend to take a peek at a couple of infant car seats.  I had originally thought I'd get a Chicco KeyFit 30 and a Snap 'n Go and then get a Maclaren later on.  That is, until I fell in love with the Britax B-Agile stroller.

It's light weight, easy to fold and doesn't seem as big and bulky as most travel systems (that I had originally been VERY opposed to). It turns easy and seems like a great stroller.

The B-Safe infant carrier snaps in very easily into the frame.  If going on the Britax name alone, it should be a good car seat.

They are both new on the market so I'm a little nervous. They both seem to be getting great reviews, but thought I'd throw it out there and see what everyone thought.

Thanks!!

Re: Britax B-Agile & B-Safe?

  • We just ordered ours but we got the B Ready System by Britax.  It should arrive by November.  We liked the sleek design, the fact that you can add more seats later, and the agility of this system.  My co-worker also ordered it!  We see people driving them around, and they say they like it.  Its a little pricer but it also looks nicer than some other brands.

  • I have the B-Agile as our travel stroller and I love it so far! We have only used it a few times but its been great and a very smooth ride. Our regular stroller is the Bugaboo Cameleon so we are used to a smooth and easy push. Our LO seems to love it too. He's almost 8 weeks old so he has only been in it in the carseat.

  • I've had the B-Agile for 4 weeks now and LOVE it!!  Coming from a chicco travel system & then an umbrella..  this is a world of difference and I wish I would of bought it sooner.  We didn't get to use an infant seat in this obviously, but I fully trust the Britax brand.  We also have the Marathon 70 convertible which is amazing.  The quality far surpasses all the brands out there IMO.

The stroller overall is made with such quality.  It?s lightweight, nimble, turns with such ease and we don?t kick the back wheels when walking.  The canopy is large & it?s so easy to adjust the shoulder straps. My DH even runs with it.. even though they say you aren?t supposed to.  The shocks on it are on all 3 wheels, unlike the City Mini, the competitor.

I sold our chicco travel system & plan on getting the Britax B-safe whenever we decide to have another LO.  I wouldn?t hesitate getting it!

  • We're getting the B-Agile & the B-Safe too, it's actually one of the baby items I'm most excited about.

  • We bought these. We love them so far, but no baby to actually try them out. The main reason we got the b-agile is because it is so light.
  • I have no experience with either, but I just wanted to say that I remember you from 3T and am SO happy to see you here and pregnant! =)

  • Hey girly!

As you know, we're going with the B--Agile.  Still on the fence about whether to get the B-Safe carset or the Chaperone!

  • I am also getting the B-Agile and the B-Safe. At first I was going to do the Chicco and the SNG just like you, but after seeing these, I love them.

  • I am also geting the B-Agile. I took it for a test drive last week and just fell in love with it. As for the car seat, we're going with the Chicco Keyfit30 and then just getting the converter for it to fit into the stroller.

  • I have the B-Agile and love it.  The only thing I wish that was different is the wheels.  I wish they were rubber-coated like the City Mini instead of just plastic.  Other than that, it's an awesome stroller and is amazingly compact when folded.  It fits into the trunk of my Beetle!

  • We bought the B-agile and the B-safe, and while I haven't used them yet, the reviews I have read are great, and I think the quality looks fantastic.
