HELP: Fall/Winter clothing

The weather is just starting to change here in FL. But DD has no pants or long sleeve clothing everything from last year is to small.

What is in your LO wardrobe? I'm think: 5 pants, 10 long sleeve shifts, 5 sweathers, sneakers & socks, 1 jacket.4-5 dresses.

Also DD is 26 pounds not sure on size she is in 18 months right now but not sure what tro get?

Re: HELP: Fall/Winter clothing

  • DD's winter wardrobe is normally ~ 5 leggings and tunic sets; 2-3 pairs of jeans/cords/heavy khakis, 2-3 pairs of fleece or warm up suits, 5ish long sleeved shirts that will go w/ the jeans/fleeces and some of the leggings, 2-3 fleece jackets, 1-2 cotton sweaters, 1-2 heavy coats (snow here), 1-2 dresses.

    10ish Undershirts and pants, socks

2-3 sets of hats and gloves

  • I just did all of my shopping for DD's and DS's fall/winter clothing.  For DD I got 12 long sleeved shirts, 3 long sleeved dresses, 5 pants, a ton of leggings (to wear with the dresses, plus so she can continue to wear her skirts that she's been wearing all spring/summer).  Her heavy coat from last year still fits, but I bought her a new lighter fleece jacket.  I'll also probably get her 1-2 new pairs of shoes, especially a pair of boots.

  • DS has about 7-10 pants, a ton of long sleeves, about 6 sweat shirts, 2 jackets, and 1 snow jacket, and about 6 sweaters... my child has always had a ton of clothes lol thanks to my mom and MIL.

    DS is 27lbs. and I have 2T and 3T for fall/spring clothes

  • I am in FL too and my DD has a pair of jeans, a jean skirt, several tutu type skirts and other skirts and 2-3 pairs of leggings to go under them.  I recently got her about 5 long sleeved shirts also.  She has a couple of warmer fleece/poncho type outerwear garments.  I usually layer since you know how it starts out cold and then warms up quite a bit during the day.  I need to get her some more pants and stuff but for now it's fine.

ETA: DD is about 30 lbs and is in a size 3T.   Also I have one fleecy pj and the rest of her pjs are a lighter weight.  When it gets chillier at night though I run the heat and this year feel comfortable giving her a comforter or blanket in the crib since she's too old for the sleep sack this year!  Or I might also put a t shirt on under her warm fleecy pjs on super cold nights when it gets below 40...
