White crib for a boy???

Is white nursery furniture too girly for a boy?  We're team green, and our nursery colours will be aqua and yellow (in muted tones, not too crazy bright).  Those will be in the fabrics and the walls will be a neutralish tone.  Most of the furniture in the rest of our house is dark brown wood, so that's normally what we gravitate towards, but not sure that will go well with the colours we (ok I) have chosen.  White would be perfect, but is it too girly if we end up having a boy?

I think it's totally fine.  Of course, I am using a white crib and we are having a boy, so I might be a little biased.

IMHO white is perfectly fine for a boy or a girl.

I think white is 100% appropriate for a little boy.  Before we found out LO was a girl, we'd already decided on a white jenny lind crib for either sex.

We are having a boy and are going with white nursery furniture. If you like it, go for it!

I think it's unisex.    We bought a white crib for our son and it looked just fine.

We're finding out the sex of our baby, and we're still going for a white crib. I personally don't think it's girly at all... especially when the rest of the decor in the room would be boyish (if we have a boy).

We ordered a white crib for our boy. We typically go with very dark (almost black) wood for the rest of our home. We like pretty modern styles and there are TONS of modern boys rooms with white cribs...in fact, I think most really modern boys rooms have white cribs. We are doing a dark, modern dresser and dark, modern bookcase.

I personally view white cribs as girly, I have a good friend who did her son's nursery in white and it screams girl to me, but to each their own!

Agreed. We were looking at doing white early on in the pregnancy but the more I looked it just seemed way too girly for me. Especially it's a lifetime crib and you plan on using it as a full.

Personally I was going to do white girl, dark wood boy... only because I'm doing the furniture that grows with the baby.... BUT I've seen tons of boy nurseries in the white and love it... check out https://www.chiccheapnursery.com/ to see some photos

I think when you get darker woods it's harder to match the wood colors (especially later down the line), and you have to buy everything at once in a set to make sure they match.

DS had a white crib and we loved it. I have to admit though we are happy that this time around it is a girl bc she will be keeping the furniture for awhile. We just could not picture DS being 7 and having a white bed and dresser.

I struggled with it too. I thought white would be too girly but white is the perfect color for a baby!

And don't forget, if you get a convertible crib and it seems too girly as he gets older, you could always paint it!  Blue or green could be great options for a toddler boy's bed.

i think it's borderline... as long as the rest of the room isn't too girly/gender neutral and you put in lots of blues/boys..it will be fine...but it's definitely borderline, leaning toward girl.
