c-section ladies- ?

did you bring or did they give you compression stockings?

I read an article about them helping the blood flow after surgery- and I know some hospitals do it- I'm going to ask my doc tomorrow but I wasnt sure if anyone had them recently (I know I didnt get them the last time...)

    I had the puffer things on for a little while, but they were taken off when I promised to get up and walk. I didn't have any stockings or anything.

    The hospital provided them (EDIT: the same puffer things - I had no idea what to call them) after surgery but once I was really up and walking (the next day) I no longer needed them.

    They put compression stockings on before the surgery. I did not put them on myself. Then they used both the stockings and air stockings until I was up and walking the next day.

    TTC since 6/2003. m/c 9/14/03 8 weeks, 5 chemical pregnancies, mmc 6/04 12 weeks, Michael born sleeping 5/25/05 at 22weeks always our angel, fought ovarian cancer and won, m/c 4/06 5.2 weeks and 7/07 6.6 weeks,Our Miracle baby girl born 4/8/10,mc 12/18/11 at 5.3 weeks, BFP 10/26/12 dating u/s on 11/8/12 showing a strong heartbeat!EDD July 4,2013. RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

    They put the things like blood pressure cuffs on my legs for a day after. After that, nothing. They never even mentioned it to me to be honest!

    I had the blood pressure-like cuffs during surgery and for the rest of that day.  The next morning I had compression stockings put on and had them on until the day before I left.  They made my legs itchy!
