I finished my half marathon yesterday! I felt great and I could tell
that the baby loved every second of it. We ate lots of bagels after. I
am feeling the 13.1 miles with a few sore muscles today but no other
problems. My doctor telling me that she "feels... that running that far while pregnant is not in anyone's best interest" is a crock and very old school. I was over trained for this event and could have kept running. I am going to continue running as long as my body is up to it. Scaling back to 12-16 miles a week for now and going on how my body feels.
