Q re: BG Elementals

I feel like a board hog today...I usually just lurk!

If you found that your LO outgrew the absorbancy on these, how old was he or she at the time?  I'm thinking it's just another one of those "it depends, every baby wets differently" answers, but I'm still curious!

These hold a lot for us (and are more absorbent the more they're washed) so I don't know when/if we'll reach a point where they can be worn for any less amount of time than the pocket diapers we have.  I actually put these on the kids when we'll be out for awhile since they hold more.  Like you said, every baby's different though so I'm sure there are some they don't work so well for, but we love them.

My 15 month old can wear an Elemental for 2-3 hours without any leaks or anything, so he hasn't outgrown the absorbency. And if he ever does, it's easy to throw a doubler in the diaper

Good to hear!  I'm really liking the ease of these and the absorbancy thus far.  I had mentioned in another post that I've started having leaks sometime with the BG pockets, but so far so good on these...I'm wondering if it might have to do with the difference in the suedecloth liner and the organic soaker in the Elementals?

I can't say my son ever "outgrew" them, but, I definitely kept him changed every 2-3 hours in them, whereas he went 4-5 in the pockets with no issues.

My DS is getting to a point where he really holds his pee then lets it all loose!! So 98% of the time he's fine in a BG Elemental but every once in a while right after I change him he's completely soaked through!  I think it's time to Potty train!! LOL

My 18 month old has never leaked out of them and she drinks A LOT of water.
