So frustrated....

STBXH is suddenly saying that he won't sign the separation agreement and wants to take it to court because he wants a divorce!  Why can he not understand that this agreement will help him get the divorce......

He doesn't even want to contest anything in the agreement Tongue Tied

    I'm assuming you have to be legally separated before you can get a divorce where you're from, correct? If so, tell him to go ahead and take it to court -- the judge will just thank him for wasting his/her time and tell him the separation needs to be filed before anything else can be.

    Or, give him a divorce book for your state and highlight the part where it talks about it.

    Better yet, tell him to get an attorney and stop being ignorant.

    You have to be separated for a year before a divorce can be granted and while you don't need a separation agreement with two kids and him being volatile I won't wait that long.

    The best thing is that he has a lawyer, I have provided him the website with the details and..... he works at the courthouse.
