WWYD-Crib Question

DS's crib is still in pieces from our last move.  I haven't checked to make sure we have all of the pieces, so this might be a moot point.  It's a Jardine Madison crib in cherry.  There was a massive Jardine recall and I can't find a recall for the one we have, but there's a recall for the Jardine Madison in Natural and dozens of other Jardine cribs. The one we have is not a drop side crib. If you were me and you had all of the pieces would you use the crib, or get a new one?

If you've looked up the serial number and yours really wasn't part of the recall, I'd probably use it.  It's always possible that the wood in the cherry model is different from the others, or made in a different facility where there wasn't a manufacturing problem.

I would call the company to ask about the recall and why it was applicable to one color over the other, just for peace of mind.  Also, you can ask for a replacement or spare parts kit if you're missing screws, etc.
