Excedrin while TTC??

Ok so I am probably going overboard..but ttc is full of what if's so I am just asking you all...the experts! :)  Ok so my fertility monitor gave me peak day yesterday and this morning, so I probably am ovulating as I speak.

 I took 2 excedrin with 250 mg asprin (I did not know it had asprin until just now :(  So now after looking on the internet it says it can interfere with implantation...

how common is this?  I just have this feeling that if this isn't our month I will blame that cause we have smushed 6 times is the past 7 days!  Did I spoil all our hard work ;)

    I'd ask your licensed expert on this one.  I'd think you'd be OK this time, but ask if this is a safe med...

    Also, I agree with PP, ask your doctor or even a pharmacist about the Excedrin.

    I was trying to get away from the BD terminology...not sure how I feel about it either (does sound gross) but I think snookie is hilarious!!

    Thanks ladies...I am aware that is the process to concieving.  I prefer to have a little more fun with it I like saying BD and agree smushing is probably not my personal preference after reading it a couple times.

    I agree that if you ask your OB they will say, "stay away" because there is no research about such small amounts of any drug. Think about it, most drugs are pregnancy catagory B, which means, of all the people who took this, it appears safe. There is little controlled research on drugs during pregnancy because it is unethical.

    That being said, the caffeine is the problem in excedrine and I don't think you took enough to matter. Not sure the how much caffeine is in Excedrin but "moderate" consumption per day is 150-300mg.

    I get frequent migraines and would only take Excedrin. Once we started TTC I stopped because I read it can cause heart defects and such. My husband thought I was crazy and said, "but you're not pregnant yet". Knowing I have a hard time breaking old habits I told my husband why not stop taking it now so when I am pregnant it's not so hard. Long story short, I stopped about 2 months ago an noe I'm knocked up. Taking it once while TTC I would think you may be ok but I'd definitely ask a DR to be safe
