Most of what I find comes with hats and DS refuses to wear any.
I was thinking of doing toddler ACU's but the cheapest I've found is $45 (too much in my opinion) and I was going to have him be Sid The Science Kid, but they stopped making/selling the microphone.
Any ideas?
Re: Costume for DS who refuses to wear hats?
Buzz, Woody, Batman, Superman? He could just not wear the hat and people would still know who he is. My 19 month old nephew is going to wear the batman pajamas Target sells (complete with cape) as his costume.
I have the same problem with DD and she's going to be tinkerbell because it doesn't require a head piece.
Also agree that you don't need the mask to look the part of known characters. DS took off Spiderman Mask while T-o-Ting. Here are some ideas-
Vampire or Elvis (slick back the hair).
Pirate (without the hat).
Charlie Brown- found browsing web site.
Dash from Incredibles
Doctor or Vet.
My DS refuses to wear hats too. Last year, he was a dragon, and wore everything except the hood, and I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the costume - and he was the only one I saw at 3 different halloween events in the costume.

This year he is going to be a Musketeer. I am hoping between now and then, he will have a change of heart and wear the hat. If not, people will still get the gist.
