Hi from a newbie

Hi all!  I'm not exactly a newbie, but close.  I usually just 'stalk' out these boards and figured I should finally say hello.  Actually, I've had some issues w/the new format and wasn't able to see posts past page 1 so I figured it was pointless to post yet, but I finally figured that out.

Here's a tiny bit about me.  So I'm from CT and been married for about 2 1/2 years to a wonder man who I've been w/for 8 1/2 years.  We have 2 great dogs and are really looking forward to having the human kind of kids!  We decided to start TTC in Jan., so I'm off the pill for the 1st time in 9 years.  Been kind of interesting, just hoping everything goes well.  So I already have a ton of questions, hence the stalking of the boards.  I also hope that at some point I can help answer some questions as well.  I love these boards and am so happy to finally be a part of them!

I've got a question now, why don't we have a FAQ page for all the baby boards?  Just wondering since so many of the same questions get asked all the time and it even seems like some people get annoyed w/the repetitivness.  Ok, that's it for now, talk to everyone soon!

Welcome.  I don't know why there isn't an FAQ page.  Not a bad idea, but then I bet people would still ask those questions anyway.

Google your questions before you ask them, or you risk being burned at the stake.  Then, if you don't find an answer - search the boards.  The newbies always ask the same questions OVER and OVER and OVER.

Last, buy "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" - it will have a world of information which will help you get caught up around here & hopefully help you make a baby sooner, rather than later.

Love the Newbie Test! Pleased to report:

#1. & #2. Read it. Read it again. Still have it checked out from the library ane probably will until they tell me to bring it back.

3. I "googled" my husband before meeting him in person.

4. peeonastick.com -- I particularly enjoyed the cup you can purchase in order to avoid peeing in one of your own cups. Has someone not heard of plastic cups? Yuck.

5. Prego -- Annoying way to say that someone is pregnant. Also can't stand "Preggers."

 6. I hate to say that I am ignorant about Tuesday's significance. I would love to be filled in on this one.

 7. Are Target PNV's acceptable? I sure hope so! I 've been taking them for over a year and the doctor never said that it wasn't OK. If not, please fill me in so I can enjoy some good old Barney vitamins.

Welcome.  Take people's advice and think twice before you post.  I tend to hurry with the things I say and it has already gotten me into trouble a couple of times. 

It's a good thing though! I would rather be challenged by a group of intelligent ladies than spend my day online with a bunch of shiitheads.  I like it here and I am sure you will too.

I didn't proctor this test, but you seem acceptable. I think you'll be a quick learner when Tuesday rolls around. And #8 is 2.
