I don't mind posting my LN on here, because I'm wondering if you think Jack Brock is too harsh.

We love one syllable last names. Jack is one of our favourites.

Thoughts?

    My son is Jack-love.

    However, I think the harsh -ck sound at the end for both fn and ln is a little much.

    IMO I think the -ck is too repetitive and does sound somewhat harsh. But if you love it, you could make it work.

    Yeah, it's too abrupt. I don't like the repetition of the -ck sound.

    This is a case where I actually would prefer Jackson Brock.  The -son ending buffers it a little.

    Yea I agree it doesnt flow well. I like Jackson and then you could always call him Jack for short.

    It is a bit harsh, but I like the suggestions of Jackson or John.

    When I read it the first time, I thought: "Brock.  Jack Brock."
