What can you tell me about the co-op preschools in bethesda, chevy chase, cabin john, or maybe rockville ?   thanks!

Or basically... just some info on co-op preschools.  I don't really know anything about them.  thanks!

I am not much help as I live on the other side of the county and not doing a co-op, but try the local nest board or the DC baby board.  Also, does the govt offer any sort of info on that? I know they have an agency for daycare finding. Or try DC Urban Moms msg board. They are crazy, but there is a ton of info out there.

We do a co-op in Bethesda; I toured a few in the area and will be happy to answer any questions I can. Obviously, I know the most about the one we go to. You can pm me, but let me know here if you do so I can check and reply. The different schools can vary so much, so it's easier to answer specific questions than just try to generalize. Also, there is a preschool fair coming up in October somewhere in Cabin John/Potomac; it's a big one and lots of schools are represented. You can meet people and get a good feel for the schools etc.

I will definitely have some questions for you.  We haven't moved yet.  My husband is working up there and we're still in GA waiting for our house to sell.  The fair coming up in october, is this for registration for next year?  Is this something I should definitely attend?  This is so hard being so far away!
