I loathe people who don't consider being a SAHM work.
M and I meet my dad(who's retired) for coffee almost every morning. There was this guy who was there for weeks at the same time as us, chain smoking and butting into our convos.
One time M was walking with my dad so Dude and I were talking and he said something to the effect of, "I'm not like you, I'm a worker."
Eff off you loser! If it's 10 AM on a Wednesday and you're sitting at a cafe you are clearly NOT a worker. And certainly not more of a worker than me.
D!ck!

Re: Another FFFC
And I really need to correct my typo as I wrote work but meant coffee.

People need warning signs, so you know they are going to say something dumb. Being a mom both SAHM and not is hard work! I've heard it from both camps and it's almost always someone who's never had kids, been around them, or is a few generations past us.
3.5 hour commute, ewwww. At worst, I had 3 hour round trip, now down to 40 min each way, soon to be 15. I feel for you Jen, I won't go back to the long commute if I can help it.
Wow, I think I would have punched that guy!
I am a SAHM and I swear sometimes I am more wiped out (mentally and pysically) at 7pm than I ever was at work.
