What do you think of the name Preston for a boy?  What image do you think of?

Also, any great middle name options?

His sister's name is Penelope Claire, if that gives you any style ideas.

    I like Preston, mainly because I associate it with a DJ on a Philly radio station.  He is very cool, knows and ton about music and musicians, and use to play in a band.  

    I would keep the MN a little more traditional.  Preston Michael, Preston Daniel, Preston Christopher, Preston Nicholas, Preston Thomas, Preston Matthew...

    I don't hate the name, but I would never use it because I think snobby rich boy too.

    Although it's NMS, I still think it's a nice name. I think Preston Alexander, and Preston James sound good together.

    Really not a fan of Preston.  It screams snobby, rich, dorky kid to me.  Sorry.

    If you go with Preston, I would go with a very traditional name like James or Thomas as a mn.

    I have an awesome cousin named Preston Reed.  He is a really great guy that is athletic and outgoing.  I have a great association with it.

    Preston is actually one of my favourites, so I think it is quite nice! As for image, I think of a dog from a movie I used to watch when I was a kid, haha. I get where people get "pretentious", I just don't care. :)

     

     As for middle names, I personally like Preston Graham, Preston James, Preston Oliver, Preston Scott and Preston Lyle.

    I know this name isn't really popular on the board for sounding pretentious or snobby,but I love it.It was the only name DH and I could agree on and would have used it had we had a boy (we were team green).We will use it if #2 down the line is a boy.

    Ours was Preston Erik and I think that sounds great:)
