.....or are birth announcements really expensive??  I have been searching on tinyprints and shutterfly for some cute announcements ( I actually think I am going to do an announcement/christmas card)  but even at $1.50per card if you order 50, thats $75!!  I can order 50 at costco for $14.99!!  I just wanted something a little cuter, but I didn't realize they were so costly!  Anyone find any that are in the Costco price range??

Haven't found any yet either! Newborn pics are enough!! Ours will be $500 for newborn pictures! CRAZY! I am looking for a birth announcement card on one side and the Christmas picture on another!

We usually do ours at Wal-Mart.  i think they have some cute ones (simple) and they are dirt cheap.

I just bought this deal from Moolala. It's $25 for $75 worth of credit on the website. I'm going to make a book of our maternity pictures and then will use whatever is left towards Christmas cards/newborn announcements

I know on Etsy you can get a customized announcement made for about $15 and they just send you the file so you can print it yourself either at home or Walmart or CVS, etc.

This is what i did for xmas and just a random example for a birth announcement.

But if you look on etsy you can pick out a layout and send the pictures to someone for $5-15 dollars.

They send you back the file and you just take it to sams or costco and print the 50 for 14 deal.

So you get a totally unique layout, and much nicer looking in my opinion then what costco gives you to choose from, for about $25.

I'm pretty sure any store that has a photo kiosk (Target, Walmart, Drug stores, etc.) offers them. Just bring in your favorite photo of your LO and you can design them yourself. They usually have sales on them too.

Sites like TIny prints etc always have codes for $ off. I'm sure around the Holiday's they will be high. I got a 25.00 off shutter fly in my Target Goodie bag for registering. So just go make a registry in store put a few things on it and you will get  a nice GC.

I actually have a couple of coupons for different places for free or VERY reduced prices on announcements. The announcements will probably not end up all being the same because of this.
