I am just sooooooo tired. DS wakes up every hour all night long. We are moving him into his crib and it is not going well. He is getting to big for his swing. The straps are now too tight around him and the swaddle. I haven't had the patience for DS #1 today either. I feel terrible. He wants to "help" put the baby down for a nap. He comes in the room with me and then talks loud or brings in loud toys and puts them in the crib to help. It's sweet but frustrating. I am hosting a mom's night at my house tonight too and I still have cleaning to do and I have to go shopping for some appetizer stuff. I am just feeling tired and overwhelmed.
I'm so sorry. I know exactly about the big brother "helping" by talking loudly or bringing loud toys into the nursery...and making the putting the baby down routine start all over again.
I hear you on the"help" getting No. 2 to sleep. DS ALWAYS follows me into DD's room and he doesn't understand that it's not a time to play or talk loudly. He usually screeches "night night, gabby!" as we're leaving. Like you said, cute but frustrating.
Hugs! I'm pretty sure I've had a day (or 2 or 3!) like that when LO was only a few weeks old. I agree with PP about a nigh out! It would be fun if we were all local and we could all have a get together!

I'm right there too and baby #3 is also a horrible sleeper. I'm also potty training my toddlers and their bathroom is next to the nursery so any time I do have luck getting baby to sleep is ruined by toddlers yelling, "I went potty! I get a sticker!"
Do you have anyone that can come help you? I swear my parents' help is the only thing keeping me sane! Just know you aren't alone!
Re: Been on the verge of tears all day
Ugh, I think we all have those days. It sounds like a mom night is just what you need!

Hopefully the weekend goes better for you!
