Doula Recommendations

 Can you recommend a Boston area Doula?  I'm especially looking for someone that is experienced with massage.

Hi! We had our first child in late August (a girl!) and hired a doula that we met through Isis Maternity in Arlington. She taught the Natural Childbirth class, and we really liked her personality and expertise.

Her name is Stacy Swain. Her email is divinedoula@comcast.net. She was fantastic! She's experienced with all types of alternative pain relief including relaxation, massage and aromatherapy. She's also a great person. I highly recommend speaking with her. If she's not a good fit (budget wise, availability wise, etc), she will likely be able to find someone for you- she's connected to the doula community.

Butting in - Thank you for this!!  I have been researching online but I like to see an actual review. I assume she is in the Arlington area?

She's actually from just over the border in NH, but she comes into Arlington to Isis to teach, and she also provides doula services all over the Boston area. Feel free to pm me if you have other questions about her or doulas in general!
